Autumn is the season that reminds us to see the beauty in change. It’s time to be back outside, riding bikes, taking a hike, and lighting up that campfire again. Most of all, it’s time for you to plan your next trip to the Styx River RV Resort for some fantastic fall camping! We have been busy getting the entire resort ready for the fall season.  

This fall is going to bring all of our members and guests to a place where great memories with families are to be made. But we also made a few great memories this summer too. We celebrated our “Father’s Day Weekend” with a wonderful fishing event on the river where all of our members were encouraged to bring their poles and join in the fun.  After our “4th of July Block Party”, where our members enjoyed a competitive watermelon eating and seed spitting contest, we decided the best thing to do in this heat is to cool off. What better way than with our “Wacky Water Works” weekend, full of water games, board games, and glow in the dark putt-putt. Of course, we can’t forget the wonderful Luau that was thrown by the staff, leaving our guests with full bellies, fun memories, and new friends.   

We also finished several remodeling projects during the summer as well. We completed both our indoor and outdoor pools. We’ve also remodeled and updated many of the cabins we have available for our members.  

We couldn’t get enough of the 4th of July Block Party, so this fall, we’re throwing another one for Labor Day! Don’t miss out on all the amazing festivities! To cool off from the heat of summer and “let it go,” we have our “Disney Weekend” coming up soon, where you AND your kids can channel your favorite Disney hero or heroine. We will also host a “Soup Cook-Off” to keep the temperature of things juuuuust right. Be sure to check out our popular “Harvest Festival” in October as we have many fun activities and games planned for that weekend. We round out the month with our “Halloween Festival”, and our annual “Crock Pot Cook-Off”, which is sure to be filled with some of the best Crock Pot recipes you’ve ever tasted!  

We are excited about some of the changes happening at Styx River RV Resort. We are striving to make this fall a great experience for our members and to become a place where friends meet.
